I was a teacher in rural New Mexico for three years between 2007 and 2010. I worked as a special educator for two years and also taught classes in social studies, mathematics, and language arts. I loved teaching but decided to return to school to pursue an advanced degree. In my free time I love running, cycling, swimming, and generally anything outdoors.
